Why I built Commandery

Every pod has the argument: who actually wins the most? We tried keeping a spreadsheet, but it was more hassle than it was worth.

Commandery is the app we always wanted and never had. Logging a game takes a minute, and everything after it is automatic: a win-rate leaderboard for the whole pod, your lifetime record against every opponent, win rates by commander and by colour identity, win and loss streaks, and a game log you can filter by player, commander or date. It's what my table uses every week, and I hope it settles a few arguments at yours too.

Questions, answered

The things pods ask before their first game.

Do my friends need accounts?

No. Add them as guests and they get full stats — leaderboard, head-to-head and commander history — without ever signing up. They can link their own account later if they want to log in.

Is it actually free?

Yes, forever. The core tracker — leaderboards, rivalries, commander and colour stats, and the full game log — stays free, and nothing you rely on moves behind a paywall later.

What happens to my data?

It stays yours. No ads, and we never sell your data. Your pod's history belongs to your pod. Read the privacy policy →

Can a guest become a full member later?

Any time. When a guest signs up, link their account to their existing player and every game they've already played stays attached — no history lost.
